NRG Arena
NRG Arena is the smallest venue in the massive Reliant Park complex in Houston, Texas. The seating capacity of NRG Arena is 8,500. The venue was completed in 1974 under the name AstroArena. In 2005 it was used as shelter for displaced victims of Hurricane Katrina. NRG Arena tickets are generally reserved for more intimate concerts and traveling shows like the World Wrestling Entertainment and Professional Bull Riders series. The NRG Arena box office is located at One Reliant Park. The arena was the first to host the Vans Warped Tour indoors in 2007. The upper levels of the facility house office space used for meetings and team sponsors. The smaller sized venue is an excellent location for smaller artists to get a more intimate crowd feeling.
